Accreditation

Origins is committed to excellence through continuous quality improvement. The organization maintains accreditation and state level licensures for addiction treatment.

Origins’ facilities are accredited through CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). CARF’s mission is to “is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of persons served.”

Origins holds the Three-Year CARF Accreditation for the following:

Florida:

  • Detoxification/Withdrawal Support: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)
  • Residential Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)
  • Residential Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Older Adults)
  • Day Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)
  • Intensive Outpatient Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)
  • Outpatient Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)
  • Community Housing: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)

Texas:

  • Detoxification/Withdrawal Support: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)
  • Residential Treatment: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults)

In addition to CARF accreditation, the treatment programs at Origins are licensed on a state level.

Florida:

Florida facilities, including Hanley Center, HeadWaters and Transitions, are licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families.  Licensed levels of care include:

  • Inpatient Detoxification
  • Residential Level 1
  • Day or Night Treatment with Community Housing
  • Day or Night Treatment
  • Intensive Outpatient

Texas:

Texas facilities, including Origins South Padre and Hannah’s House, are licensed by Texas Department of State Health Services for the following levels of care:

  • Residential Detoxification
  • Intensive Residential

We are also a member of NAATP.

Founded in 1978, the mission of NAATP is to provide leadership, advocacy, training, and member support services to ensure the availability and highest quality of addiction treatment.
