A Treatment center for those who relapse.

Origins Recovery Centers specializes in patients who have been to treatment previously, relapsed subsequently, and now seek treatment again. It is not uncommon for us to be the 7th or so treatment center a person has attended. Is this because we are just gluttons for punishment? Some would say so, but really it is because we feel like very often the chronically relapsing patient has been failed by other treatment centers in that they have not been given the message of recovery in its purest, most unadulterated form.

We have named ourselves “Origins” because we get back to the origin of 12-step recovery and we don’t dilute the message with other modalities. Sure we may augment certain aspects of recovery, as appropriate, with other therapeutic techniques, but it is never in lieu of, or in any way as a detriment to, the original 12-step principles practiced by the original recovery community that created this way of life that has enabled countless numbers of addicts and alcoholics to recover from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body.

You see, we are addicts ourselves and most of us have dealt with relapses in our own recovery and therefore we feel uniquely qualified to determine what addicts like us need in order to recover and, as well, to determine that which is extraneous to us in creating a proper treatment plan for recovery. Many treatment centers can’t say this. In fact, many times when we encounter a patient who has been to even several other treatment centers, they tell us that they have never before had the 12-step principles delivered to them in such a powerful, unmitigated manner.
