Renee Ruggeri – Executive Assistant to President and CEO
Renee is a native New Yorker who has been working in treatment since 2011, first as a volunteer and then full time as an employee at the Hanley Center in 2012.
She has a B.A. from Fordham University in Communications and Business Administration and a certificate in Corporate Business Finance from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2015.
What brought you to Origins?
Origins’ national brand, leadership, and treatment philosophy were the most appealing to me. I had heard of Origins and their work prior to joining the organization. Becoming part of their team was exciting when I was given the opportunity.
If there were only one thing you could tell us about working within your client specialty area, what would it be?
I work primarily with the President/CEO, Andrew Rothermel, as well as the Corporate Executive Leadership team. I have been working with Drew for almost five years, and I have witnessed his ability to build, transform and create successful programs and teams; it has been an amazing opportunity to be a part of those successes.
The Origins Behavioral HealthCare Corporate Executive Leadership team is comprised of hard working, intelligent individuals who care about ethics and making this organization the best it can be, for not only the patients, but also the employees. I am proud to work with them on a daily basis.
What have you learned through your experience working in treatment?
Every employee plays a role if you are working in treatment. It doesn’t matter if you sit behind a computer all day working on spreadsheets or if you’re in front of patients; we all play a part in the effectiveness and quality of treatment provided at Origins Behavioral HealthCare.
Do you hold any credentials or certifications, or do you participate in any other professional activities outside of work?
Certification in Corporate Finance from FAU
Florida Notary Republic (I can marry you!)
Leadership Palm Beach County FOCUS class of 2016
I am also a volunteer at Compass LGBT Community Center in Lake Worth, Florida
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Do you have any pets or engage in special hobbies?
I am married to my wife, Rita, for two years. We have a dog (Izzy) and a cat (Lita), so when I’m not running around taking care of errands I am: playing recreational soccer, hanging at the dog park, and figuring out what to eat for dinner. I have an absolutely amazing life.
