Through the group adventure experience, Origins clients are given the opportunity to challenge themselves beyond their own personal physical abilities. This experiential form of therapeutic intervention involves the creation of opportunities with peers to explore the unknown. Under the direction of a highly-trained therapeutic counselor and within the safety of a planned environment, clients can confront their fears and build confidence.
This cognitive-behavioral-affective therapeutic approach utilizes experience and action within cooperative games, trust activities, problem solving initiatives, animal-assisted experiences, high-adventure and outdoors pursuits.
