With a combined total of over 35 years of addiction and recovery experience, Origins Behavioral HealthCare has offered specialized services through a holistic, 12-Step approach. Our programs include residential and outpatient addiction programs. We offer client-driven care, and clients who need gender-specific or gender-separate treatment receive it. Additionally, we have pioneered programs for Baby Boomers and Older Adults.
At Origins Recovery Center, patients will find individualized treatment in a peer setting. We offer comprehensive, evidence-based addiction treatment for adults and older adults, with a focus on individual and family recovery.
Substance use disorder is a chronic, neurobiological disease that often occurs with mental disorders as well as medical conditions. Origins’ highly-credentialed, multidisciplinary team treats these co-occurring disorders at the same time as addiction. Individual therapies are recommended for each person’s recovery.
When you enter Origins, a dedicated MAP Peer Recovery Support Specialist will be assigned as your guide from your thorough evaluation through your medical detoxification and treatment services. Your individualized treatment plan will include elements of medical, physical, psychological and spiritual care. Special peer group sessions will explore addiction-influencing issues, relapse triggers and barriers to recovery.
Evidence-based therapies are prescribed individually and may include these approaches among others:
Family recovery is important not only to a loved one’s sobriety and relapse prevention but to each family member’s well-being. We encourage participation in our specially designed Multi-Day Family Program.
Primary residential treatment for men and women lays the groundwork for recovery and continuing care. Continuing care may include outpatient treatment, a 12-Step immersion program, individual counseling sessions and other levels of treatment. The foundations of your 12-Step recovery are built at Origins, and your MAP Peer Recovery Support Specialist will keep in personal contact with you for two years after date of discharge. Our caring staff will also help you to find a sponsor or an alumnus near you; all Origins clients are automatically welcomed into Origins’ alumni community.
