Addiction Professionals Training Institute

At Hanley Center at Origins’ Addiction Professionals Training (APT) Institute, it is our goal to provide a quality educational experience to current and future treatment professionals. We offer APT courses to anyone interested in becoming a Certified Addiction Counselor or Certified Addiction Professional.

WHO:       Those interested in earning their certification, and those who need continuing education (CEUs).

WHEN:   Every other weekend, Friday 1pm – 8pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm.

WHERE: Hanley Resource Center, 933 45th Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33407

COST: $150 per weekend class for 15 credit hours. Full-time college students/groups of 5 or more are eligible for a discount (Contact the Professional Development Department for more info).

Hanley Center at Origins boasts an excellent, knowledgeable faculty, and classes that fit well into your schedule. Our program is designed to provide 360 hours of the education required for CAP, and the courses all fall under the specified training topics.  To obtain CAC, only 250 hours are required, but must be in certain training topics, as specified by the Florida Certification Board. Certificates are provided after the completion of each class.
