The Position
Working within an interdisciplinary team, Professional Relations Officers act as key players in a patient’s recovery journey, helping them to get connected with Origins’ programs, which help the patient to remove barriers that prevent them from finding a path that leads to healing and freedom. More specifically, Professional Relations Officers connect with referring professionals and serve as a liaison between them and our programs. Additionally, our PROs collaborate with Primary Counselors and direct care staff in order to enhance patient care and develop aftercare strategies.
This position is ideally suited for individuals who are highly self-motivated, successful at building relationships, gifted at communicating and teaching, and find a deep sense of satisfaction assisting those suffering from substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders find lasting freedom.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relationship development experience.
- If in recovery, one (1) year of continuous sobriety preferred.
- Some clinical knowledge and/or training preferred.
- Proven success in relationship management.
- Willingness to travel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work without close supervision.
