Leading Recovery Center and Top Intervention Expert to Provide Crucial Intervention Training.
Origins Recovery Centers, provider of integrated inpatient treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, announced today a partnership with International Intervention pioneer, Dr. Judith Landau, to bring her legendary ARISE® Interventionist Training to Boulder, Colorado. The training session will be held July 8-10, 2013 at The Hotel Boulderado and participants will learn directly from Dr. Landau.
The ARISE® Intervention model is considered by industry leaders as the future of the Intervention industry and the preferred course of action based on its groundbreaking invitational format. While traditional addiction and substance abuse situations utilize the ARISE® model with the greatest frequency, ARISE® is currently one of the most successful models for dealing with chronic and/or life-threatening physical illness and behavioral compulsions such as obesity, compulsive overeating, binging & bulimia.
Ben Levenson, CEO of Origins Recovery Centers said “Dr. Landau is the co-developer of the evidence-based ARISE® Continuum of Care, and draws upon 30+ years of research and experience aimed at facilitating long-term healing for individuals and their families. Her expertise in the fields of intervention, addiction treatment, trauma and family therapy, will benefit countless individuals through this training workshop and we are happy to be a partner in that.”
As the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, Landau has taught in over 100 countries, trained more than 1000 Certified ARISE Interventionists, and consulted to UN, WHO, NIMH, and several international governments. Dr. Landau is an esteemed Senior Fulbright Scholar and is the recipient of awards for AAMFT’s Outstanding Contribution to the Field of Marriage and Family Therapy and AFTA’s Innovative Contribution to Family Therapy.
Participants of the workshop will receive 21-25 BRI and NAADAC approved CEUs, become certified ARISE Interventionists, join the international ARISE referral network, and much more.
