WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (December 19, 2014) – A major deal in the substance abuse recovery industry will mean new treatment options for people struggling with addiction. Origins Behavioral Healthcare and Caron Treatment Centers announced today an agreement in which Origins will acquire two addiction treatment centers owned by Caron: Hanley Center in West Palm Beach and Gate Lodge in Vero Beach, Fla. This aligns two of the best-known treatment centers in the nation, amplifying treatment options and placing the care at Hanley Center within reach of those with health insurance.
“Origins is known for providing its clients with the most advanced and evolved treatment methods available today in synergy with a 12-step immersive program,” said Origins’ President and Chief Executive Officer Drew Rothermel. “Hanley Center is one of the best known names in addiction treatment in the country, so it’s a natural pairing, and one that will greatly expand the treatment services we’re able to provide to those who turn to us for help.”
“Hanley Center has been a cornerstone of the Palm Beach County community for more than 30 years,” said Michael Hanley, a member of the Hanley Center Foundation Board of Directors. “The Hanley Center looks forward to expanding the critical work my parents started nearly 30 years ago through the exciting new treatment opportunities this collaboration will allow the Hanley Center to offer to South Florida.”
