Length of Stay as it Relates to Relapse
By collecting and analyzing outcome data on all Origins’ clients who complete at least 12 months of post-treatment recovery support we have been able to discover the direct correlation between length of in-patient stay and the incidence of Use Events post discharge. People who remain in treatment for 45 days experience 25% fewer of Use Events than those who only stay in treatment 30 days. This number increases to nearly 40% for those who stay in treatment for 60 or 90 days.
