“Change is what happens when the pain of holding on becomes greater than the fear of letting go!” – Anonymous Change can paralyze us with fear. Before recovery, there were times when we would rather stay stuck in the same place, filled with pain, rather than change. The uncomfortable uncertainty of what could possibly happen next was paralyzing. We would rather stay miserable and in pain than let go of the past and move on. But once we connect to God, start working through our resentments, and clearing up the wreckage of our past, positive changes begin happening in our lives.
Today, with God on my side, I will not fear change. I will embrace it.
