“AA is not a plan for recovery that can be finished and done with. It is a way of life, and the challenge contained in the principles is great enough to keep any human being striving for as long as he lived.” (Big Book, Page 275)
We often go through the Twelfth Step and then find ourselves asking, “Now what?” The answer to that is to continue growing along spiritual lines using Steps Ten, Eleven, and Twelve. We will never be spiritually perfect. There will always be room for us to grow in this way.
Today I will remember the road to recovery is an ongoing journey. I do not graduate from AA. I will remember to strive to grow more spiritually each day. A human being cannot truly be perfect; therefore, I can always grow spiritually.
