Inspiration for the Day
Acceptance is key. There are times in our lives when happiness seems to go out of its way to shun us. We want more and wish we were farther along on our journeys. We desire better relationships, better jobs and nicer homes. We try and push beyond where we are at this moment.
This way of thinking is too much pressure. Sometimes we need to change our minds and be open to accepting how things are today. Acceptance is a beautiful word. If we are mindful and take time to think about acceptance, we can feel peace.
Meditation for the Day
When I shift my thinking to accepting what is happening in my life right now I find a sense of peace. Acceptance helps me realize that I am where I need to be — right this minute and on this day.
