Cara completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. She is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (LMHCI) and currently working on attaining her Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Cara has held several positions during her tenure at Hanley Center, including Recovery Advocate, Admissions Specialist, Continuing Care Coordinator, Alumni Services, and Primary Counselor. She was a patient at Hanley in 2005 and credited Hanley Center as the “place that saved my life” and “the reason I walked back in the door as an employee.” In her free time she likes to watch Gator Football and perform in Improv shows.
