The Alumni Services Team at Origins is dedicated to offering a strong network of support as an integral part of each client’s aftercare. We welcome you at every stage of your recovery to a comfortable and confidential environment where you can share openly with others. We have designed each group to meet the unique needs of participants. We encourage alumni, patients and families to take full advantage of this support.

What: All adult alumni and patients are welcome to enjoy a sharing peer-led environment that is not staff-attended. Patients and alumni interact in an atmosphere where networking and fellowship are followed by refreshments. This is not a 12-Step group, but a dynamic and beneficial experience for both patients and alumni.

What: Alumni and patients interact in this popular group. Leadership of the peer-led group varies and issues of interest to Boomers are shared and explored. Everyone is welcome.
Family Support Group
When: Mondays at 6:00 p.m.
What: This counselor-led group extends continuing support and learning opportunities to family members and loved ones of those struggling with addiction. Participants are challenged to discover their own paths and solutions to their individual problems. Substance use disorder is a disease that affects the whole family and recovery invites opportunities for self-discovery.
Sober Seniors AA
When: Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m.

What: Living in sobriety for older adults has never been more inspiring. One of the largest 12-Step support groups in the country for seniors, this group averages a minimum of 40 participants, including patients and alumni. Here, you will make friends, share experiences, gain support and enjoy a life of sobriety and recovery.
