Admissions Process
Call us, our admissions specialists are available to answer any questions and start the process.
If you or a loved one has a problem with alcohol or drugs, it is critical to find the most effective and appropriate help. Our experienced Admission Specialists will respond quickly and can help determine if Origins is the right treatment resource for you.
Origins believes in a holistic approach that addresses the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of every individual. Our team understands co-occurring disorders, as well as other medical problems that may occur alongside addiction (such as liver failure or chronic pain).
Origins’ Admissions Specialists complete an initial screening that helps identify the needs of every patient prior to meeting our team of caring physicians, psychiatrists, counselors, nurses, and support staff.
Pre-admission
The pre-admission process at Origins begins as soon as an Admissions Specialist responds to inquiries about treatment for the disease of addiction. After reviewing pre-admission information, an Admissions Specialist will help you determine whether Origins is the appropriate drug and alcohol addiction treatment center for you or your loved one.
If we determine that Origins is the appropriate treatment provider, the Admissions Specialist guides the individual through the pre-admission process. They work alongside the family to make an appointment for date and time of arrival. Admissions are available 24/7, and emergencies are accommodated.
If, for any reason, it is determined we are not the appropriate provider, we will do our best to assist in finding the appropriate place for referral.
Interventions
Sometimes, the individual in need refuses treatment. Even in these cases, it is still possible for that person to recover. An Admissions Specialist can help determine if a professional intervention is necessary. They can be key in helping families decide when to enlist the help of a therapist or counselor. The Admissions Specialist will also be able to make the appropriate referral to a qualified professional to guide the family through the process of intervention. It is possible to secure the date of admission before an intervention.
