Origins’ recovery philosophy embodies a complete return to the historical foundation of the original recovery movement. Our belief is that alcoholics and drug addicts are in the grip of a progressive illness of the mind, body and spirit. Left un-arrested, the disease causes destruction in their life and the lives of those around them. There is the obsession of the mind, the allergy of the body and a spiritual discomfort which, when operating in concert, effectively doom the sufferer. The individual is absolutely unable to stop based on desire, necessity or even past or probable consequences. In order to recover, the individual must address his spiritual unrest by developing and experiencing a different way of life. Origins is founded on the central fact that it is possible to experience lasting freedom from the paralyzing disease of alcoholism and/or drug addiction.
Our Program - The Origins ExperienceTM
The Origins Experience™ is a profound immersion in the vital spiritual disciplines outlined in the Twelve Steps, which when taken together, bring about deep change, personal renewal and permanent sobriety. In addition to a variety of other wellness practices, Origins specifically focuses its Residents on the transformative work necessary to create and enjoy long-term sobriety. The program is custom-tailored for each Resident to address specific areas of past difficulty, especially in previous attempts at sobriety. The Origins Experience™ is highly robust and well-suited for those who have history of chronic relapse as well as men seeking help for the first time. Here are some highlights of the program:
- 30 to 90 day Residency as well as Longer Term stays, set in a Male-only Environment, 18 years old and up
