Origins Recovery Centers, a premier provider of longer-term inpatient drug and alcohol treatment in Texas, announced today that it appointed Mr. Jaime Loera to Director of its Alumni Services Department.
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 10, 2010 – Origins Recovery Centers announced today that it appointed Mr. Jaime Loera to Director of the Alumni Services Department. Previously, Mr. Loera served as a Recovery Coach and as a Program Director at the company’s resort-grade campus located on South Padre Island, Texas. Mr. Loera will lead the development and administration of a diverse range of post-discharge support services for Origins graduates and their families.
“Origins is committed to delivering an effective longer-term continuum of care for the treatment of our clients. Jaime’s appointment reflects our ongoing dedication to enhancing the system of support services we provide during that critical twelve-month period after our clients leave residential treatment,” said Origins’ Chief Executive Officer Ben Levenson. Recent studies show significantly better outcomes occur in clients who attend residential treatment for ninety days and subsequently engage in aftercare services, including alumni groups, regular therapy and 12-Step groups. “We are honored to have Jaime in this essential role. His unadulterated passion for 12-Step recovery, proficient administrative skills, degreed background in psychology and remarkable ability to connect with clients, families and referents combine to make him a natural fit for this important position,” said Vonnie Nealon, LCDC, Director of Clinical Services at Origins.
“It is a privilege to be asked to serve the Origins organization in this role. I am looking forward to supporting our Alumni and their families in their journey of recovery,” said Loera. Along with Origins’ regional outreach representatives, Loera will collaborate closely with therapists, sober living facilities, addictionologists, interventionists and psychiatrists nationwide to ensure that Alumni are matched with exceptional providers and resources. “It is this vital network of first-rate professionals that help us support our clients upon their return to their hometowns,” he said. Loera will manage the launch of Origins Alumni groups in a number of US cities. His duties also include helping Origins’ case managers design individualized discharge plans, including referring them to outside providers for continued care.
